Please find attached my letter dated February 11, 2009 which was based on input received from our National BLET Division and Rick Radek which basically represents the final word on this subject matter at this time. You will note I provided Brothers Ed Rodzwicz, Paul Sorrow and Dennis Pierce from our National BLET Office with a copy of this letter and I am certain if there was anything different that my view on this matter, they would have promptly notified me.
Please recall our meeting with Bob Frula at which time he agree that if an Engineer or Trainman felt uncomfortable with an office that may be interviewing or interrogation him or her to request a time out for the purpose of contact the Local Chairmen to attend the interview. We can reaffirm this with Mr. Frula when we hold our next meeting if necessary. I trust this adequately responds to your inquiry, however if you desire any further clarification, please do not hesitate to call or write.
Fraternally yours,
Don Moates, General Chairman
